The newest GMM – The Agricultural Moisture Tester for Grains of the Dramiński Company has the ability to modify calibration curves. The User of the tester can calibrate the instrument by himself, i.e. apply the corrections to the moisture curves coded for the individual species, which were created according to comparative studies on the drying method.
The calibration consists in modifying (correcting) of the indications of the tester through raising or lowering of the value of the instrument’s display for the chosen species by the same value throughout the measurement range. The modification is performed if the User finds, that for the given species the instrument has a tendency to over- or under-performance by a similar value in the whole range of moisture.
